Slippery Elm Bark
Botanical Name Ulmus rubra
Slippery Elm bark is tough, yet flexible, and has a fibrous texture. Slippery Elm Inner Bark smells similar to Fenugreek but has a very mucilaginous taste. The soothing mucilage can be made as tea or used in ointments, poultices, throat lozenges, and skin care products. *
