Bladderwrack
Botanical Name:Fucus vesiculosus
Bladderwrack, which is also known as Fucus vesiculosus, has been used historically in a variety of complaints.
Bladderwrack was the first source of commercial iodine. The powdered form may be combined with dried garlic, onion and other herbs and spices and sprinkled in soups and other foods as a flavorful salt alternative.

Not to be used during pregnancy. Not to be used while nursing. Not for use in persons with hyperthyroidism.
